The Organix Foundation funded The Caroline Walker Trust to produce a series of practical photographic resources which showed how children from 7 months to 18 years could meet current dietary guidelines eating a range of tasty meals and snacks over a period of a week or more.

How have these resources been used?
The CHEW Eating well for children aged 1-4 years: Practical Guide has been used to underpin guidance shortly to be launched across England for all Early Years Settings.
The information and photographs in the CHEW resources are being widely used all over the UK and practitioners are encouraged to use them in any way they find useful to support their work:

- The meal and snack photos can be made into cards to show the sorts of foods and amounts of foods that meet the needs of children at different ages
- Recipe sheets can be prepared, menu plans, table mats, posters, local practical guides and resources, games and activity resources
